Well, I would definately check those specs! 40 meg HD? That is extremely small, and could barely hold 7.5.5! Actually, I don't even think it could. My guess is it has 40megs free on the HD. Like John said run Apple System Profiler on it. I am positive it was installed with 7.5.5, but just incase...

I don't know if it was included with OS 7.5.5, but it may be worth starting up Apple System Profiler on it... If it wasn't installed in 7.5.5, chuck it on a floppy and bring it with you.
