Mozilla requires much more system resources than Netscape 4.79, so boot time is longer, but performance shouldn't lag that much. Which version of Mozilla are you using and on what hardware? Also, you may want to try the WAMCom builds as they are newer <=OS 9 builds of Mozilla. -- Power

I love my 1400c upgraded with a Sonnet 333MHz G3. It is a solid performer. I use it 10+ hours a day for developing, surfing, AIM, and email. The RAM is limited to 64MB. You can use a CF card for virtual Mem which is fast and saves on battery life. I do that when using Photoshop a lot. Most ti

the beauty of tabs is that you don't have 400 windows open. Floating around, each one smaller than the last, having to move them around to get to the one underneath (unless you use the window menu). Tabs are very handy. Kind of like IE Mac's placeholder only much more efficient and better laid

i've not tried RD on my 1400c/G3, but I do have it on my an 040 610 machine running 8.1 with only 8 megs of ram. It allows me to run Office, Netscape, and MacHTTP on it rather solidly. I think it uses some sort of RAM disk-like thing for the vm, but not certain. I've had trouble with it before
