We are using the free version of vmware for development and test environments.
It is working quite well. We are saving a lot of money, not having to buy
servers. As to why we are not using the version you have to pay for, well, you
have to pay for it.

How can I copy the contents of a table to %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp? I

Thanks. I've decided to go with ADDBS(GETENV(USERPROFILE)) + Local

Subject: [NF] Views
I don't think you can use SQL Server views in this manner. If you have
quite a few parameters pass them in as xml. I haven't done much work
with xml in VFP, but SQL server handles XML quite nicely, especially if
it's SQL Server 2005.

You would use the following code:
Supposing you had a DataTable object called dt
dt.Select(Name_agncy_nbr LIKE 'ABCBS*');
This will return an array of DataRow objects where the Name_agncy_nbr
column Starts With ABCBS.

Send it as XML? Is this sql server 2000 or 2005? Either way, xml will
work nicely, but sql server 2005 makes this a lot easier.

It was faster for me to write this as FoxPro code since it was already
written. I more or less cut and pasted the code I needed to create my
com object. For me to re-write as .Net code would take much longer. It
is certainly an option though.
