Below is a link to some NVIDIA SLI gamer computers. You can select various computers and look at the detail specs to see what components are being used, (eg motherboards, CPUs, Video Cards, memory, etc). http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_buyprebuilt_us2.html This system look interesting:

Well, it is a gaming video card, so it is designed for gamers, who are running the "best" (left to interpretation) operating systems, which is xp / vista. you may be able to get it to work with linux or older versions of windows. I would start by searching the gamers forums or the forums for video

I don't understand the interest or need for dual boot at all when VM is readily available and the cost of RAM is almost negligible (my brother just bought a gig for $10). It's easy to imagine that near future OS's will (by market demand) include VM built-in. Bill _

Yes, that had occurred to me. A VM is not the best choice on which to run games. Windows is still ahead of Linux at this point as a gaming OS; although, I haven't seen any benchmark/comparison. It is my understanding that the windows NVIDIA driver is more mature for SLI, etc, than is the Lin

Gamers are a special breed, and to them the holy grail is the fastest computer. Gamers don't mind spending big bucks for even small increases in spread, even though it makes each additional small increment in speed/power more and more expensive. I think VMware will degrade performance on the g
