Hi Ashley,
Welcome to the list. If you've used Pro Tools in the past, you'll have an
easier time reacquainting yourself with it. There was quite an accessibility
gap between version 5 and version 8.0.4. I'm not sure that 11 Rack is all that
accessible given that there's apparently a software in
Funny, I thought I answered this the first time. The MIDI Event List is
accessible. Others on the list who have used Sonar can elucidate.

Hi, I was mainly using auto tune as an example for some reason why
someone would want to look at a plugin. I do have other friends who
might wish to remote into my mac to look at the pro tools interface

Nick, I thought I'd already told you that Auto-Tune was accessible for the most
part.
What exactly is it that you're trying to get it to do?

Hi, I know in windows there are several accessible methods for remoting
into another person's computer that are accessible but what I was
wondering before I buy a plugin like auto tune and found someone who
would let me look at the interface is remoting into another person's mac
with their perm
Are there any lists of keyboard commands for editing in pt? I'm thinking of how
you would select audio, copy and move audio, or even delete a selected portion
of audio from a track.

Hi again all,
I have not got any clear answer to this, so I have to ask again.
Since I have been using mostly MIDI in Cakewalk Sonar and a little audio
besides that, how is it with MIDI and editing it in PT11?
For example, is there some kind of event view? is it easy to navigate with VO?

Hello Ashley, I use a Digi 003 mixer/control surfase as well and I think
that it is worth looking into. I have used the Digi 002 for a while to and
the mane differences are a jog wheel, two head phone inputs and a very slite
upgrade in converters and preamps.

Hi, I also use pro tools as a student and find pro tools very accessible
with voiceover. If you let us know what types of projects you are doing
or if you are a student this might help as there are student discounts
for pro tools. I myself use a digi 003 with moving controls so when a

Is there a page, podcast, or thread somewhere that discusses the
improvements in Logic Accessibility? I'm definitely going with ProTools;
but would be interesting to know, nevertheless. Don't want to ask too

Hi,
Thanks for your kind welcome and offer of help - much appreciated!
I used PT back in the OS9 days, and played very briefly with ProTools 9.
but I haven't touched it since. I started doing everything in hardware -

As you say, I'm looking to work with Audio - but also with Midi and
virtual instruments. Mixing, mastering, editing, nd recording with both.
Do you have any experience with the rack? Is the rack useable as a
decent interface, or do I need to look at getting another interface as well?

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your suggestion re the control surface. Unfortunately the
Mackie Control Pro is out of my price range (nearly £1000 with the
behringer at £219) - however, it's an option to consider for the future.
I wasn't aware the behringer had that issue, so you've saved me possible

Hello Ashley, welcom to the list. As far as accessibility of PT, I run a

For the most part most of the areas of PT 11 the latest version is good togo

since you are looking at an Eleven Rack and a control surface, which sounds

Hi Ashley. Welcome aboard.
I can't speak to the accessibility of ProTools as I haven't yet made
the switch, but if you can afford it, I would go for the Mackie
Control Pro instead of the Behringer if possible. The Mackie is
better made, has more dedicated buttons, and the motorized faders

Hey,
Just for your information and i hope this is not considered hijacking of this
thread since i actually talk about the Digi003. I'm trying to make the 003 work
with an app called Surface Reader which can read displays of the surface and
tell about what buttons and such are but i think i may n
