Are you aware of Flo tools? As John suggested you could work with your built-in
microphone. I would get like a karaoke track and sing or do voiceover over top

I have not done any key reset or macros. Just started using ProTools and my

Yes I agree with this little conversation. I do intend to pick up some of those
avid bundles. What is the most beneficial reverb you have found I am looking
to replace the lexicon I had in Sonar I just have not warmed up to anything
Protools and logic have yet. Slau?
Ricky Prevatte LMBT1154
with my Protools.
If it were something that really mattered for my personal use it would be done
and Protools. I just use logic for conversion of my 5000 projects that I did
with Sonar. I may use logic with a canned track. Even that does not sound as
good as when I do it with Protools.
Ricky
I would listen to the Sweetwater person they would never tell you anything that
they do not believe to be true. With what people have said here and that I
would certainly settle for the older MacBook Pro.

It will work better with logic then with Protools. I am very impressed with
Protools but flip mode works and many other things. Go ahead pick up logic Pro
X you will dig that with a big spoon my brother.

bought extra plug-ins for Protools
to handle my midi Deeds. I do some simple vocal things and the master Fater
being in the same place is awful handy as well. I am just now able to tie
everything up the way I had always envisioned it.

nice project. I am
forcing myself to use only logic so I can learn the program better. I did this
when I bought my first Apple Computer. I am not going to abandon Protools
because version 12 is a truly great thing. By the way logic works great with
the MackieMCU pro.

2011 I do believe. The reason I draw that conclusion my son has an I five from
2012 and I have an eye seven from 2011. I did not even know until last night
they had to stop at and he did not have but one Jack on his machine.

One more thing whatever computer you get be sure to max out the ram it is not
very expensive today. Are you using multiple hard drives for recording? If not
you need a great FireWire drive or something very fast as I said in my earlier
post Sweetwater can advise what to do.

or be productive in your studio. You can find that Mackie used for the same
price as the X touch. The faders are so quiet and the unit works so great I
highly recommend that. What are you putting your audio into the machine with?

and it will automate and do
the same things but it is not a standalone unit to plug into powered speakers
and provide sound. The 002 will do that but not the 003.

That was not mentioned by 11 four would not even run correctly with Yosemite.
This cost me a lot of trouble so I would advise not to try version 11 with
anything other then Mavericks.

made it without a surface. I would have gotten much more work done had I went
a head and bought something a lot sooner after leaving my Tascam FW 1082 and
windows behind..

Those were my thoughts as well Kevin. I would like to get up with you by phone
and pick your brain on the Mackie. I am having great success with it and logic
and doing even better and Protools. I can live without flip and Protools.
