Hi,
I am running Mac OS Catalina in Intel Mac and QGIS 3.20, I would like to use

I have downloaded lastools and installed them in a path that might not be OK:

Hi,
I imported a .csv file with about 100 datasets and created a shapefile layer
from the X and Y data.
Then I did something stupid. I deleted some duplicates and changed the X and Y
data slightly in three or four data sets, and I created a new row with one new
data point and X and Y data.
Thanks Andrea, I will do that.

Hi,
I have to shrink 9 larger LiDAR data sets with LAStools to LAZ.
Now I am working on a Mac (Intel; Catalina) and do not know how I should get

Hi,
I need a base map for East asia, best would be greascale or just black lines on

Hi,
earlier posts said that a port to ARM architecture should not be too big of a
problem.
I do not remember the details, but my conclusion was: Just wait, no problems to
expect.
But I have to admit that I own a MacBook Pro from 2019 and do not plan to
change in the next five or more years

Hi,
I do not recall the exact dialog, but I also get this kind of messages when I
first opened QGIS 3.10 and 3.12.
Just go to the security settings like with every other non-App-Store
application on Mac and set QGIS to open. Just ignore the horrible message and
open QGIS again, it works.

Hi fellow archaeologists ;-),
there is so much precious information in this thread.
Now one question about precision and accuracy: As I said, we work in a densely
forested area, there is not just the canopy of the trees, but two to three
levels below with dense ground cover and bamboo walls.

Hi,
I am testing the GDAL tools the way you explained, but I still get artifacts.
When I say artifacts, I do not mean pixels, I know what pixels are since I
started using a scanner nearly 30 years ago, I think of sudden jumps in the
lightness, which leads to lines and grids in the raster image

Thank you for looking into this. It seems to be related to the CRS problems I

be a problem with the official Japanese files I downloaded, but it looks

Now I cooperate with people who use the Japanese version 2.14 on Windows (I am
