accepted and sent by qmail according to the logs, but doesn't seem to be
giving Outlook a response to let it know that the message has been sent.
Any ideas? Here's how Qmail and Qpopper are being run:

upon running this today, it gave me the followign error:
Warning: users/assign checking not implemented.
problem is that I don't know what it means - using the -v flag was no help.
Anyone have any idea?

helps multilogs work with qmailanalog, I can't get it to work myself.

I am trying to track
down a email with a particular Message-ID but I am having no luck. I am using
Multilog to log all messges sent. Within my logs, for any particular email, I
just have time it was sent, whom it was sent to and the "msg" that qmail uses to
keep track of the message. Where c
would be appreciated. The only fix I have found so far is
to remove rcpthosts altogether, which for obvious reasons I don't want to
continue to do.

Found the answer myself...I was wrong in thinking diffing the dot files wouldn't
help.
His .mh_profile was missing the following line, which I got out of the FAQ way
back when:
postproc: /usr/lib/nmh/spost
Adding this allowed mail to reach outside.

I was unaware that they used qmail, but it doesn't surprise me. they are all about
speed of delivery, security of the mail passing to and from their care, and
data consistency. Qmail offers all of that.

ok, so I dumped my old rc script and modified Dave Sill's with the rblsmtpd
entry I was using (taken from the qmail archives)smtpd starts and all
seems hunk dory, except when I telnet into port 25 I don't receive a greeting
from rblsmtpd...is that normal?

I recently setup Bruce Guenter's Qmail (qmail-1.03+patches-18.src.rpm). For
every email, I am getting a email addressed to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". I
understand what this is for, but I can't seem to find a way to turn it off.
I have deleted .qmail-msglog from /etc/qmail/aliases but am having no luck.
I am sending out a bunch of emails and would like to generate a list
usernames whose mail bounces. Does Qmail have any feature to accomplish
this? Or is there another way to accomplish this?

I have been given
the task to send out 2 million emails in a 12 hour time window. All the emails
will be sent remotely, to a list of users of which is 90% accurate (I figure 10%
of the emails will bounceback because of bad email addresses) I have all the
bandwidth I need (servers are located
machines. Would it be worthwhile changing out? Can I expect to relive a
bottleneck in this process?
Why would you avoid sorting by domain? I would think it would be more
efficient handshaking.
No, I am not using EZMLM. How could I benefit from using it?

just having 1 queue structure. My question is how to se
