Does I need to have my local DNS server in my private
Network(192.168.1.x/24) or can I use my Service providers DNS server IP in
Qmail toaster?
My qmail toaster is placed under a firewall with private IP and allowed
related ports like 25,110,143 in my firewall. My domain was registered with
as I said before
but QMTISO already installed with bind
so all you have to do is configure a test.com zone along with A and
MX record which point to your mailserver IP address
yes you may need to setup local DNS on your private network. no need to
ask your ISP to create the dns zone for you
Thanks, I will be waiting for your post of DNS conf,
Regards,
Naveen

My second office unfortunately has an Embarq public IP address. That IP is
listed on dsbl.org. I thought If I add their IP to the tcp.smtp file and
rebuild it show automatically allow them to send mail through the server. It
is rejecting all of their mail now.
