without problems.
This time with fresh CentOS v5.2 everything seems to work fine except

I've updated the CentQMT5 ISO. Those that have previously purchased the
download will see the new version in their Other Packages menu
automatically (you get updates for free, remember). If you do *not* see
the download in your menu, please open a ticket on the VCGHosting site
and we will

Hello all
I have a problem with reverse lookup with QMT installation. I have a lot of PTR
request from one IP. I have -H option for all TCPserver services at this
moment. When I check qmail logs files, I can see only IP and no reverse lookup
check. I would want to know how to debug that ?
I Installed wireshark to sniff the packet and I got as results:
QMT query DNS for PTR of QMT IP Server
DNS Reply with Answer
42.743055 199.202.64.74 - 199.202.64.7 DNS Standard query PTR
74.64.202.199.in-addr.arpa
42.744670 199.202.64.7 - 199.202.64.74 DNS Standard query response PTR

Hi
I want to remove the PTR requests. At this moment, QMT is making a request of
his own IP for each smtp transaction.
Sorry for English :(

You are right, I update Bundle::CPAN from the CPAN shell, i am already
installed spamassassin, modyfing the .spec file and building it using
rpmbuild -bb and the .spec file as building parameter... but the question
is, what is the right procedure to not get into this mess? First fresh

I isolated pop3 and smtp connexion and I have the PTR request only when I make
a pop3 connexion (PTR of QMT Wan IP address)
My run files for pop3:
#!/bin/sh
PASSPROG=/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw
HOSTNAME=`hostname --fqdn`
exec /usr/bin/softlimit -m 900 \
/usr/bin/tcpserver -v -R -H -c 200 0
