I dumped the list through CLI and I see both of my addresses and there isn't anything different. From Qmailadmin, I delete one of them and it goes but when I try to delete the other or any other addresses that were inserted from bulk, I can't delete them. I looked in the log file in the lists

Nice catch!!! Although vi isn't showing the ^M, the bottom of the VI console shows [dos]. I ran it through dos2unix, now VI doesn't show [dos] and the log after EZMLM insert doesn't show the ?. I did have to delete and recreate the corrupt list since to get rid of the bad addresses. OK, I guess
