don't auth, and I only see these entries from outside IP addresses, but
it seems to me that this indicates that someone tried to auth before
sending and the system did not recognize the username, so maybe
something on your network is trying to use the wrong port to send?

When you say there are no CLEAN entries it makes me wonder if there are
problems with simscan. Are there any other simscan entries in the
logs? In my logs I see entries like this:

simscan:[]:SPAM
arlier, over 96% of our unwanted messages for
the month of October were blocked by Spamdyke, and we don't even use
graylisting. Less than 3% were blocked by SpamAssassin.

I have to make a DNS server accessible to the toasters that has records
that tell the toasters that my exchange server is the MX for example.local.
It's not super easy, but it works for me.

Where is the default location for the bayes db?
I've looked in /root/.spamassassin and /home/vpopmail/.spamassassin,
there's nothing there.
