I have a bad time with remembering if I did something or not, it's mostly
just my short-term memory that is really messed up. If I try to remember
something I usually can but all the things I don't try to remember I have a
horrible time recalling them

I wouldn't mind if someone who keeps track would tell when I first posted

Hi John,
I don't keep track but I *think* you started posting about 6 mos ago. I know
it hasn't been over a yr. The reason I took notice was because you are from
Ohio.
My short term memory is shot. I believe
I can honestly say that I am very happy with my life. It certainly helped
that I was 51 when I broke my neck, because I already had a full life so I
did not have as many regrets that I had missed many opportunities. I think I
have more appreciation of each little thing that happens that I did

Unfortunately, many of us have such a set routine that the days blur together.
I have a terrible time with short term memory. I have to write down phone
numbers even if I am only crossing the room. I can remember students from 20
years ago but not yesterday. Pitiful.
I have been talking to a developer that due to the very poor real estate
market would consider a community development for para/quad/tetra...Club House,
Specail Pool, Gym..thinking of all the rehab at Shepherd..
Have own drug store, therapist, equipment technologist, registered
i visited a house in champagne illinois that housed 4 quads on level 1, a care
giver in the basement and another in the upstairs.? seemed like a pretty handy
setup.? if there were 5 or 10 houses like this in a row, it would be even
better for everyone.? lots of us don't need 24/7 attention
I got injured in a car wreck Aug-3rd 1997--about a year later, Found this

I understand the problem with funding and money for disabled..i didn't 30

now...If I could get enough families, folks, etc. to say interested..i think, I
can
get the lenders, banks, corporations to back the community
Someone was talking about meds they started because of a sore last week but I
don't remember name of med. if someone could tell me that be great. Also those
people with spouses, my wife is more my care giver than wife, any idea's on how
to reverse this? And for those with penis implants what
Thanks Dave..I would also..due to the need to have someone available..when
you don't expect a turn of events..My wife..just developed terrible pain in her
feet..she can't stand up at all..I would give anything to have someone or
two persons..come by and help me to get her out of her
Considering your potential customers, which by law, can not/should not a pot

I don't know if there will be that great of a demand in Atlanta to complete
your phase one
project.
I don't know of anyone who would just pick up and move from the snow belt or
anywhere else just to live
A lift chair may help you and others with the transfer problems and can also

For those of you who are out there in states that are bitter cold (I see it

I would think that a letter (a very good letter) by an occupational
therapist would get by the Medicare guidelines. I will be finding that out
when I go to look for a new chair myself.
I very highly doubt that the size of minivans have changed. Yes, it is very
annoying to have to duck my head
It was quite easy to know when I got on this list because it was shortly
after I got on the Internet. In early 1995I did not even know a single
thing about the Internet. Then I signed up but ended up being in the
hospital for two weeks with my shunt surgeries. I remember thinking, lying
there
I think it sometime after 1993 as that was when I first got the Internet.
One of my aides found the quadlist for me. I remember reading it but I didn't

Myron,
Perhaps you could get a hoyer lift to help you with your wife's care. That is
what the girls do to get me up. Being a caregiver is a tuff job, I am sure you
get tired. We just don't realize how hard it can be at times. In the long run
your wife knows how hard it can be as the patient.
Hey Linda F. How come you didn't tell the world about you and Warrior going
out on NewYears Eve?
Warrior called me and said that her kneecaps are busted and her hams
strained. What did you guys do on New Years Eve?
Speaking of a hoyer for Warrior. She's going to need one now.

Hi Tom,
I don't know too much about penis implants other than being a surgical nurse
during the insertion during surgery. I do know they have come along way with
the improvement of implants. You also wanted to know about medication for a

Shepard Hospital, has a list of DMEs in your area, and then some. They may
also have a technology center there for you to try out some of the equipment
you are seeking.

Good question Dana. Also would this place be for individuals or family
members as well. How about aging seniors and developmental disabled. Would
this
place accept those in Atlanta only or the State of Georgia?
How about those from other states and their families? How about those

I live in Kansas Myron,. I doubt that I would move away from my family,
unless it was really a good place to live. My family doesn't do a lot for me
physically, but it's nice to have family around and I am on a fixed budget and
I get my care through self-directed care so I don't have money
