I have yet to meet an old electric wheelchair that could not be repaired or restored. My advise it to contact Medicare/Medicaid (CMS) in your state for the updated procedure of obtaining a new chair. Yes, it begins with a face to face with your doctor. Hopefully a MD that specializes in

my Dodge Caravan has a slightly smaller access opening (30x53 instead of 36x56) , I'm slightly narrower at 60 instead of 64, but I'm longer at 87 instead of 81.5. All other measurements are within an inch of the MV-1. I have never bought a NEW van but I think they start around 40-45k.

As of Oct/Nov of 2010 I was not aware of any suggested pricing on the MV-1. This was after serious talking with the President of the Investor's Group. The MV-1 was not designed as a personal use vehicle. It was designed for the Transportation Industry which is the ParaTransist business.

Just my opinion, but I would think using any kind of chin control or like, a front or mid wheel chair would work better. Though I've never really used a chin control or sip-n-puff much. I know the turning is much different with a front/mid, but once you figure it out you can turn much sharper

It really all depends on what you want and need. I hated my TDX3, but really like my TDX5. I think it was the True Track. I'm not sure if the TDX3 has it. The TDX3 was just jerky. While driving in a straight line, you know how you make slight corrections? The TDX3 would jerk with each correction.

I think your biggest problem is going to be that medicare believes wheelchairs are for indoor use only. I have a quantum 600 from pride mobility, it is okay outside in gravel until you have to back up, then it seems to get hung up. Some kind of design flaw with the rear casters. All of the
