When I had the V8 Xtreme, can't recall if they do them anymore.
I was happy with them, they would aqua plain tho across a puddle, but just
a wet road they were prob better than less slick tyres .. ie as long as the
rubber can get to the tarmac.

I seem to remember Ian on hear getting uh hum rear ended in is xtreme -
kermit, he sent it down to devon and it got fixed up if I remember
rightly... I would agree depends on if the damage has gone into the
section. The
suspension mounting points
have held up well though.
Just had it picked up for inspection, so will wait and see what they say.
Just shows what a mix of a bit of diesel, a damp road and cold tyres can
do.

I too found the clutch pedal a bit bonkers. Up there is a sierra pedal box
that is why after um breaking in a similar fasion my robin hood that I
built, I snapped up a pinto powered Xtreme - have now sold that and took a
blind gamble on the v8 Xtreme..

hours of driving too.

I'm cautious about loosing the coolant from the cooling system, I've
cooked a couple of cars to coolant loss

good point - on mine the hazard switch has gone a bit dodgy and has to
be held down a couple mm left the hazards not on and the indicators
not working either.
