I *almost* wanted to return the boom but then I thought maybe I just
need both :) I really like the idea of a battery (assumed the boom
would have one). My main question is if I have the radio, too, can I
just plug it in, run through the setup and then have one server on my
computer and have the

After the radio is on for about 30 minutes it loses wireless connection,
then after reboot no wireless option is available. I will return this
for exchange. I hope I have better luck with the next one. I like the
radio.

I noticed when I have to set the wireless up and I have to put in my WEP
password or my SSID or anything that requires date entry, that sometimes
the letters or numbers are right in order and I just click and the right
one is entered, but at other times by the time I scroll to the one I

Strange. The radio was unplugged all day. I came home plugged in the
power cord while holding down the + button and now the radio shows the
option to connect to wireless.

After a long call to a Logitech support person, I finally got told that
the Squeezebox Radio is incompatible with my router, a Netgear DG834G
(v3). And that this was why my Radio works for a while and then drops
off from connection to my Squeezebox Server (see my posts in other
threads). So far I
The BBC live stations are available on WMA streams for both UK and non
UK users. These stations can be played natively on SB3, Boom,
Transporter, SB Radio and Touch so there is no need for a server to be
running.
The BBCiPlayer plugin is used for BBC Listen Again and to get the
better quality F
I was thinking of buying a SB Radio, but I'm starting to be concerned
that I won't be able to listen to any of the BBCstations live - is this
the case?
Reason for asking is that I have upgraded server to 7.4.1 and installed
Squeezeplay Beta on my PC and can't get the BBC stations to play. I'v
Still could be a hardware problem, the wired and wireless components are
seperate.

Just to clarity, ethernet works fine. I have disconnected ethernet,
because I need wireless to work. My issue only pertains to no wireless
option.

At the moment my Radio is only showing Now Playing, My Music and
Settings.
Nothing else, no Internet Radio, no My Apps, etc.
Diagnostics reports
mysqueezebox.com at 89.202.121.131. Ping and TCP ok and the Radio is

I would suspect a failed sever at mysqueezebox.com,except that when
I suspect it is actually a bug of some sort.
Because I have noticed that the further I scroll don, the further the
played item is from the intended one.
That is, if I go to my B items, select and click, it plays the item
before the one I have selected. But if I go to my T items then it plays

I would contact support, it could be a hardware problem.

I tried turning off security on the router. The router is set to

Squeezebox Radio issue. When I reset the radio to factory defaults, the
radio turns on and says lets start by getting you connect to your

I find that happens a lot. If I'm not careful, the knob moves as I'm
clicking it and I select a different item in the list.

Yeah, sorry about that, I entered that thinking I was in the Boom
forum.
I deleted the post before you even responded.
I believe the the Radio brightness setting is universal to all screens.

this only works for squeezebox classic, there is no such option on
squeezebox radio.

hi again, is there anyway to adjust the brightness when the radio is in
idle state ?
I found the option to adjust it when playing but nothing to reduce the
luminosity when its showing date and time.

hi, i just bought the squeezebox radio. I already have a squeezebox
classic pluged on my router. The radio uses wireless network to get data
from home server.

power bouton then short push to switch it on).
2 - I push the powe
My Radio was giving me some network fits lately, still unsure why.
If you haven't tried already, remove any/all WiFi security features
temporarily and try connecting Radio.
- do broadcast SSID
- no WEP or WPA
- no MAC filtering

I'm sure you won't regret it if you do. I recently started using
Homeplugs instead of wireless and am really pleased with them. They just
work.
