Recent Slashdot story, soon Ford Sync will include ability to do WiFi.

Not clear if this will be close to what you need for a Radio, but
clearly cars will have WiFi a lot sooner than expected.

Both Verizon and AT&T sell little WiFi routers connected to their Cell

Thanks for the replies so far.
Basicaly my radio can't see the server, so the switch library function
doesn't work as the radio doesn't see any libraries. The oddity is that
the server knows the radio is trying to connect and I can make the radio
play music by cueing it up through the web UI.

Sounds like the usual "more than one volume in the chain" problem.
If you're using something with its own volume control, you should set

In short, I typed in a "one" which didn't work. Then a lowercase "L"

Now I need the proper syntax to rename

Anyone find a good Carrying Case for their Radio yet? We just got ours

Hello,
just use putty with the ip of the radio and the username and password
that will be displayed on the radio when you activate the remote login.
Can you explain me, why you want to do it?
What can you do "in" the radio then? I heard about it, but never read

I think I would use Terminal then. I ping the IP of the radio, and it

I think you BBCiPlayer / SBRadio problems arise because it seems you

Until BBCiPlayer is implemented on mysqueezebox.com, you will need to
run Squeezebox Server on a local device. This needn't be a PC - for
example,
My Squeezebox radio runs fine with my QNAP TS-119. You need Squeezebox
Server 7.4 or higher to run the Radio, and you need SSOTS 4.1 or higher
to run SBS 7.4 on the QNAP.

Alarm bugs are top of the priority list right now. Please keep your systems up
