I have two SB radios. On one SB I can go to Internet Radio, Local and
then it goes right to my local FM and AM stations. On my other SB Radio
when I go to Internet Radio, Local, the next option is State and then
Cities. Why the difference? Please note that I am starting with the
home button in

is left wheel, the second, the right one.

the cassette has no background as well as the wheels, wich are square
pictures exactly cropped around the circle.

I think the AC state is used for a fully charged battery, yours is
probably in the NONE state if you don't have battery.

artwork shrink to within the banner and status bar. Turn it a bit more
and it will go back to full bleed.
That change came in with the 7.4.1 release.

I see this also. When I start a dynamic playlist I remain in the main
menu rather than go to Now Playing screen. Checking the screensaver
settings, it is definitely set and the delay is set to 10 secs. I am
running 7.4.2-30018

This sounds like the correct behaviour to me.
When you first turn it on, there are lots of things it could be doing,
continuing the current playlist is just one. Instead of turning it on,
then pressing play, how about just pressing play from off? that should
kick it off with the current playlist
