port it should not be a problem. Squeezeserver uses 9000 und 3483

Downloading the artwork and putting it into the album folder (and naming
it folder.jpg) should work.
Realize that you must rebuild the library and album thumbs after doing
this for them to show up. They won't magically show up if you don't do
a rebuild.

be an excellent remote control, especially easy to search through a
large music library, as well when I start the app it prompts to turn on

I'm not sure, so I'd have to look into this, but I've been running my
radio off the TINYSC in my touch- which means I power down my server
more often than not lately..
I haven't even considered if it supports alarms...
I will look tonight, unless somebody knows the answer to this..

If you don't want to risk it, don't try this- but I've been running 7.5
for a while now, and my Radio (as well as duet and touch) have been
solid as a rock for a few weeks now. And yes, I no longer have the
firmware upgrade bug- it was pretty annoying.

received the shipping confirmation today, even though the website said

It's probably fixed in 7.4.2 already: the issue was lack of memory. On Radio
there was a memory leak (which should be fixed now), on Touch there sometimes
were too many services running in the background (TinySBS, Samba). The latter
is fixed in 7.5 only.

Could that be the new version resetting your buffer time and station
time out value? Check server settings -> Advanced -> Network for buffer
and timeout value. Increase those values to see if that help.
