The Boom -needs- a sequel. I would buy it even if it was pink. Maybe.
Well, any other color for sure.

Here is the problem- When you do an update, the radio needs a PC running
squeezebox server to be up and running when the update finishes. If the
PC is not up and running, then the radio cannot connect to
mysqueezebox.com,
This is stupid because the radio had all the information it needed to
conn
I suppose it is a very special problem and as far as I know not many
people have problems with scanning.
So I suggest to at least look into the scanner log in the hope that
this points to some strange file you have and then contact logitech
support.
If they were really aware of some open scanner p

My BIG bug is that 7.51 server software for the Netgear ReadyNAS cannot
successfully complete a scan, it terminates every time. G!!!
Sticking with 7.5 until Logitech sorts this out...

I see the problem. You're no longer connected with your mysqueezebox.com
credentials within SqueezeboxServer. Otherwise under internet radio
you'd have lots of things other than just enter url. Try this first:
turn off your router, your computer running SbS, and unplug your SB
players. Then tu

If he keeps getting updates then he likely is switching between SBS and
MySB.
I can only suggest:
- stay on SBS, no need to switch
- stay on MySB, but no local music
- update SBS to 7.5.1, this Firmware should match MySB version (no
more update nags)
- ignore update as instructed in earlier p
This rant would suggest he is _trying_ to use mysqueezebox.com:
"If you do an update and try to use the radio without some pc on the
network running squeezebox server, it becomes useless.
Except maybe for LINE IN.
Its redekulous to have to keep a PC running just to update the radio.
What a joke
People, please calm down a bit.
RadioListener might just be a first time user who has purchased a
Suqeezebox and realized it doesn't work as advertized. We all know how
frustrating that can be. New users who are frustrated can often be
insulting but that doesn't mean we have to answer with insult

Now please call support and get your defective unit fixed or replaced.

I've certainly had my issues with this radio, but I have not had to
re-enter any information after a software update. I've had my radio
since January fwiw.

Just noticed that there is a new baby at Logitech.com. It's a new WHITE
SqueezeRadio. I kind of like it and even though I have no place for it,
I am tempted to get one. Maybe there will be a coupon discount soon.
Congratulations Logitech!
I think it's cool. Anyone else?

Yes obviously something wrong with his Radio. I have done several
firmware updates and have not been prompted to re-enter any settings.

I don't use a Radio, but I haven't had to re-enter any setting on my
Touch for over a year despite updating the firmware every couple of
days (I'm running a beta version of Squeezebox Server). Same goes for
my Boom and my SB3s. There is clearly something wrong if you are
getting repeated requests
Hello,
My Squeezebox Radio use to shut down (no more sound) without any
reason. When I touch any button it plays again. I have tried to reset
it (restore factory settings) but it always the same problem.
Do you have any solution ?
Thanks for any help

Hi RadioListener, you didn't say yet, what setting was deleted. Maybe
you take that piece of information and contact official support ?
If there is anyone with (at least a bit of) influence on the dev team,
then I guess it's the support, (hopefully) tracking errors and customer
satisfaction, due
