My's Radio's on/off button started to require hard or long presses to
function, so I dismantled the Radio thinking I'd have to stick on a new
conductive pad or coat the existing pad with Remote Restore. To my

Yes, the BBC don't stream wma any more. It's covered by Triode's
iPlayer. Just switch to aac.

There is no formal support mechanism between Logitech and QNAP, but the
QNAP community does routinely generate QPKGs that allow LMS to run on
QNAP. Have a look at the QPKG section

I can't see how to fit the battery in to the remote. It is much too big.
I temporarily used soldered connections such that I could use the
battery external to the remote, but was disappointed to discover that
the battery was flat. Have any of you had success?

Try with a regular socket and see how it performs. If you cut the power
to the Radio, it will take quite some time for it to run a complete
start-up cycle when the power is reinstated.

Yes, I have Twonky running also, and it works fine. Your SSOTS should
default to port 9099, and your Squeezebox Server installation should
default to port 9001 when it diagnoses that Twonky is running on 9000.
This is how it is supposed to work. I'm sure you'll get it sorted.

My Squeezebox radio runs fine with my QNAP TS-119. You need Squeezebox
Server 7.4 or higher to run the Radio, and you need SSOTS 4.1 or higher
to run SBS 7.4 on the QNAP.
