Easy test is to wire both your player and SBS server, now see if

Radio needs to be connected to a server,
somehow, somewhere. Either SBS server on your computer or MySB.com
online.
If using SBS server your mms issue is fixable. If using MySB.com that
mms stream won't play.

I've been streaming CBC 1 Saskatchewan (I'm guessing this is your
station) without any issues.
Try connecting directly to MySB.com to stream it, this will take your
NAS out of the equation, see how it does then.
SB then no automated process within the Radio can do
so.

If your Radio was last connected to MySB.com then that is where the
Radio will connect to when your start up the Radio.
No local server will be accessed or woken up.

Email C-SPAN, inform them that their change to Flash based streams means
many hardware devices (non-computer devices) can no longer get C-SPAN.
You could also ask them for a non-Flash direct stream URL that you can
paste into your Favorites.

f you could use ICS then ICS includes handling of DHCP, it has to.
Maybe try internet searches for "basic ad hoc networks" or something?
My suggestion is to simply buy the cheapest WiGi G capable router out
there (eBay??) and make all of this much simpler to use and se
intenance, support issues, and over
head for which a very simple and much better solution already exists.
Switch to SBS for local music. Or use MP3tunes.

better.
SBS server can do everything MySB.com can do, plus a lot mor
streams should play on SBS.
Another option to solve the mms issue is to email the station and ask
them to enable http streaming of the same WMA format. Then it will be
playable from MySB.com.

Make sure you can stream high bitrate stations (320k) on your computer
as it is now or else you can expect trouble streaming from the Radio.
I think a lot of Asian ISP's do bandwidth shaping which can cause
stream interruptions and buffering issues on live streams.

What is odd is you would think play from standby would be simpler than

Radio > Settings > Home Menu > *switch to MySB.com*
This will add "switch to MySB.com" to the end of your Home Menu.
With SBS off you should be able to select Internet Radio or My Apps and
a switch to MySB should be offered (may have to select a sub menu
"On MySqueezeBox.com" (assuming you saved a Favorite on
MySB.com).
Apps can be uninstalled (deleted) in two ways:
1. On MySB.com web UI > My Apps > *select App* > Uninstall
2. On the Radio > App Gallery > *select App*

Favorites while you were actually on MySB.com.
You are saving stations to Favorites while on SBS server, and that's
where they are. ;)

Yeah, seems hit & miss, my Genre's and subs are all working fine. My
bitrate limit is set at 128k.
But some of the menu items do give the "userdata" error. But the 320k
bitrate selection is working no
Just a general FYI: I've been using the production US MySB.com, if that

I don't think so, you must engage the Sleep function each time.
But you can move the Sleep menu to your Home menu for quick access.
Radio > Settings > Home Menu > select Sleep
Also the Radio IR remote (purchased separately) has a Sleep button
