On a slightly side note because future Waterford Rivs have been mentioned, I'm
still not convinced that's going to be much of a thing again. Maybe they'll
continue limited runs of the Roadeo (and Legolas if you ask in a not-in-writing
way), but Atlantis, AHH and Hunqapillar? Two of them are
I think it depends on what you're getting in a future MUSA frame.
If the forthcoming Waterford Atlantis, AHH, etc. basically retain the
features of the pre-2018, regular(-ish) chain stay, 2-3 degree upsloping
top tube models, I don't think the used market for these frames will
benefit as

The twofish holders would work great. They won't hurt the paint and wouldn't

I can beat that. I did some minor work (while working for Stevie's Happy

the type with no struts; all the weight cantilevered off the seatpost.

I’m sorry, they’re both gone. And I now believe them to both be CrMo.
For more info, see the newer S84 thread I’ve created.. Apparently, and
unsurprisingly, I didn’t delete my erroneous post fast enough to avoid
confusion.
Apologies!

It seems to me that after the heyday of lightweight aluminum bikes with
their large diameter tubing, people (bike people anyway) went one direction
or another: "forward" to CF or "backward" to steel. Around that time, I
heard (well, actually read), someone — perhaps Georgiana Terry — say "steel

Road pumps are designed to fit between frame tubes so one end should fit ok
resting on the BB shell..it should work fine with a Two Fish that way. I'm a
bit queasy about wrapping tape on painted tubes, I always worry that the damage
developing under there will be worse than not covering it at
I have an older model Topeak Road Morph bike pump from Craigslist. The
mount attaches to the seat tube with zip ties and I'm afraid it will
scratch the bike, besides not looking as nice as it could.

That’s an interesting point. Of course, MUSA frames may start up again. But

Rivendell switch in production made me think of the Fender guitar production

The battle raged for years about MUSAFender guitars vs.
I hope so. I'd like a Waterford Atlantis someday and think their used
prices may come down since it'll be competing with a new bike of the same
model name, even though it's not the same bike.

I just picked up some Compass Steilacoom Extralights for my cross bike and

Like new dual-leg kickstand like this one:
https://www.modernbike.com/pletscher-two-leg-kickstand
Came with a bike I bought. Installed and used a few times by the previous
owner. Uncut legs, so it should fit any bike. All hardware except the little
rubber feet.
$30 shipped in the CONUS.
Note
Two big thumbs up for Thunderburts, have them on a couple bikes. They are
great all-rounders and you can get them with some pretty advanced puncture
protection (light, yet effective)

I’ve never tried the Compass offerings, but I just went on a 200 mile gravel
and forest road tour on 27.5x2.25 Thunder Burts, and they are
awesome—fast-rolling, enough grip, no flats. I was running them tubeless,
though, so the no flats part was expected.

Thanks for the input so far, hopefully this is not a too common of a thread
that keeps popping up. In regards to the compass tires, it looks like they
have a very similar design to the rock n road with their "pumpkin ridge."
Any thoughts on how those 2 compare?
