I don't have a Platy, but on my bikes I like to use a toe strap to lock the front brake lever. Even a heavily loaded bike will stay up securely with just a single point of contact, like the corner of the seat resting against a signpost for example. If you go the ClickStand route, locking the

Jared, that JJJ bar looks *really* nice. I 100% agree that the finish on the Jones bar is not up to snuff. Certainly not Nitto standards. I'm going to end up with the Jones bar I think because I can get one from my LBS. Just for an example, that Analog stem is going to cost $81.87 to ship to

I ran a 30mm Discord W(Right) stem from Analog on my Susie with the non-loop Jones H-bar. It was a great combo. If you like those bars, the Discord stem should give you what you are after. I was riding a large Susie, but had the same issue of longer legs, shorter reach and needed a stem and

At first it sounds like a Billie would do the trick but then you say it's not a 'fun stuff' bar. For less flare I would recommend the Riv Nitto Wavie or Velo-Orange Postino..both 25.4, both in stock. I don't know if they'll hit the reach-back spot, though, you may need the Billie for that.
