It's too bad to see an uncommon Riv frame that was rippled and dimpled by
one owner and left outside *over winter* by the next. Perhaps with the
damage there's some more room to negotiate the price. It would be nice if a
new owner could resurrect
Alex, Lyle's build at the time he sold the Ram is one of my favorite
bicycles I've ever seen. It's been fun to see the further mods you've made
and watch as you've put it through big brevets and PBP!
The current setup, paint and spec are superb!

Leah, if only you could link up with a trustworthy board member-mechanic
who could carefully ream the seat tube for her! I'm not sure who that would
be 🤔 The S84 is the ultimate.
I certainly understand your reluctance to have a local shop do this for you
after the recent stories you shared!
If you missed out I just found two more Large tees, send me a message for
direct sale. Printed in Richmond, Virginia on Bayside tees made in the USA.
They're $35 shipped CONUS. Thanks!

I'm happy to share, glad everyone who responded has enjoyed! Always fun to
turn up a little Rivendell/Grant tidbit "in the wild."

Hi Lenny — I'm glad you dig, thanks! The mediums and larges are gone 🥲
It's always hard to ride that line of meeting demand and not ending up with
a bunch of unsold inventory.
Still have a few S, XL, XXL and XXXL.

Hi Paul — If you're regularly hauling loads like in your picture it would
be worthwhile to get set up with some good racks and panniers. A handlebar
load of 36 lbs sounds dicey! I'm impressed you got a photo of the bars
loaded up while in motion.

Hi Ted — I like Rene Herse tires but refrain from recommending them simply
because they're so darn expensive and the benefits of the casing might not
be appreciated by all. I would just hate for someone to think "Eric
recommended these expensive tires and I don't like 'em!" While I do enjoy
