The DHCP server will only assign a new IP address if it's lease time has
expired. Otherwise it will continue to use the same IP address it previously
held.A simple power cycle will most likely not result in a new
address.-GlennSent from my 'smart'phone, so please excuse typos and spelling

Drake,
I attached a screenshot. I have had zero problems but I was a
Beta field tester for Schneider. I use DHCP only. Everything works that I
need for offgrid to config a remote system on Insight2. Ignore the events

Hi Drake,
In general, you want to use DHCP unless its an unusual network. You would
typically enter this into the network page of the device. This gives the
router control of the IP address and all of the other networking parameters
of the device on the network. Static is more common in a

I have very similar issues. The Gateway connects
and disconnects continually. I have 14,370 events
listed, mostly the Gateway connected and disconnected.
The first few weeks it was running, the Insight 2

Howie,
So CI2 worked until you did a gateway firmware update?

you verify that 1.04 firmware is running on the gateway and check my

wireless connection it might be stuck on another network. Some system
I have a net metered battery backup Dual stack XW Pro with a Conext

read and write to the inverters through the gateway as long as I'm
connected to it through the local area network.
I was also able to register the Gateway
