Is there a GNU or freeware version of Miva available for Linux that's
compatible with the commercial version?

I believe that is correct.
RH 6, or later, has kernels with the drive support built in.

Hi all,
I've installed lm_sensors-2.5.2.rpm and lm_sensors-devel-2.5.2.rpm on my RH7.0
system and run the sensors-detect program successfully.
Now it says I need to modprobe i2c-isa and via686a. The i2c-isa module loads
OK but there is no via686a module anyplace.
Do I have to rebuild my kernel

John, I think what you want is a package called SVGATextMode. I seem

Try flush the arp and cache on your Win9x machine: nbtstat -RR (see nbtstat /? for more details). Find out what your arp tables say: arp -a and delete any rogue routes. Also check your default route and netmask via Programs | control panel | network | TCP/IP Propertie
use xargs (man xargs)

Agreed, and note that using rpmfind.net as a resource does not mean that
you must use RPM packaging if you don't want to. Suppose
well, then let him try this (known to be working) test script
#!/usr/bin/perl
print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
$dir = `pwd`;
print "the cgi-bin dir is in $dir\n";

Wooah Eddie!!
You can handle this in several ways better than this. Both pump amd dhcpcd
provide hooks to scripts that will run when the lease is renewed, changed
etc.
Tell us which one you are using, nad I can provide more details.
And, even emailing it to you isn't as convenient as say ftping

This is a CGI config problem, not a perl config problem. That test cgi

Terry, Drew is right - this is not something you can solve with ipfwadm,
and besides you can only forward a port to a *single* machine.
Have you checked the archives? I'm willing to bet this has been answered
before, but Drew's rules look ok to me (I am not an expert though).

I'm configuring Apache 1.3.14 with Mod Perl 1.24_01 and PHP 4.0.3pl1, on
Redhat 6.2. I got a problem in which when Apache wants to run a perl script
(for PHP script there is no problem), for example for this script

#!/usr/bin/perl
