I keep getting the following messages on a continuous basis. It does not
stop. It is filling up my message file in /var/log directory. They
suddenly appeared a few days ago according to the files. What do they
mean?

i've got a sparc64 box here running rh62
and i'm trying to install the up2date rpm from the cd
(didn't think to install it initially)
but when i run this:
rpm --install --allfiles up2date-1.13-1.noarch.rpm
it says i need:
pygnome
mygtk
usermode >= 1.15
so i try to install pygn
I did a lilo and reboot the server and it worked fine now. I thought I did
but probably I did lilo right after I added the "new" kernel not after I
removed the "old" kernel in lilo.

computer name and printer name. But nothing still appears in the net
neighborhood from the dialup and the dialup computer doesn't appear in

I could not find the setup file either, but after playing around, and
clicking on things, I found that when I clicked on
/mnt/cdrom/english/so-5_2-ga-bin-linux-en.bin
The setup started. No chmod or anything. I was logged in as root.

it at any mirror sight there is only one. You may want to grab all the
kernel-* packages. RH installs the kernel source into the directory
/usr/src/linux-

kernel 2.4.9-31. After r\compile and mkinitrd I get the following on trying to
mount a cd:
"wrong fs type, bat option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom or too many mounted
file systems."
