ftp works from behind firewall but doesn't work at the firewall???

No, but its not that dificult to upgrade by the source code, once you do it that way you will always do it that way, a quick and dirty would be rpm -i kernel-source then copy the config you want from /usr/src/linux- 2.4/configs /usr/src/.config then rpm -e kernel-source then download a new

Ya, I thought about that, but perl is only one of them, I have a good 30 or 40 perl modules installed that were installed through cpan, so I'd also have to get those rpm's, I was just wondering if you could update the rpm database to include other stuff withough actually going to the trouble

You have to rebuild the sendmail.cf with the sendmail.mc from /etc/mail if you don't know how to do it just ask but basically you need sendmail-cf and m4 installed and type m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc /etc/mail/sendmail.cf then copy the sendmail.cf to /etc when you have verified it is good.

Well if you really want to do it look at either UW imap or the cyrus Imap server, both see up to the task, if you pick UW Imap make sure that you switch the default folder create format from what it is to mbx. for the clients you could use almost anything that supports imap :) Groupwise

pumpd failing to renew a lease
