How about use the following two steps,

2. input command "chroot /mnt/sysimage"
3. input command "grub-install /dev/sda", where /dev/sda/ is the boot

Greetings,
I managed to put Sendmail (using the RPMS that come with Redhat 7.2 with

So far i told Cyrus to use 'sasldb' (in the /usr/lib/sasl/Sendmail.conf)
but the MD5 (Cram and Digest) methods doesn't work.

Greetings,
I have a custom Corba client that needs to talk with a Corba server;
Both are behind an IPtables firewall (No DMZ) and given the nature of
the protocol (no fixed ports but dinamic ports are opened) i don't know
exactly how to tackle the problem.
I found some information here about how

If you're serious about a large cluster maybe you will want to use SNMP
and NMS (well known standards). My choices (for Solaris and Linux) are:
- SNMP Agent: Net-SNMP (http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net)
- NMS: OpenNMS (http://www.opennms.org)
Both programs have a very active community behind them,
cat /etc/redhat-release

Greetings,
Nevermind, Bind on RH72 (and up) is 9.1.3-4, which is not vulnerable

Hi to all,
Does anyone know if Redhat has a patch for the following vulnerability:
http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/bind-security.html
I checked the errata, but only found the following fix (not related):
https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2002-133.html
The say that disabling recursion should

t the ServeRaid 5.11 drivers to work with
a more modern kernel?
2) does anyone know a good mirror for old redhat updates?
3) anyone heard of any show-stopping bugs in -5, that would make it
safer for me to stick with -3?

Anyone using the IBM Serveraid 3HB out there? I'm curious which (rh

Any idea why xscreensaver isn't expected the window to be deleted when i

something else.
Any ideas?

Greetings,
Hi to all,
I'm getting problems to migrate from NIS+Automount to LDAP+Automount;
Looks like the PADL tool doesn't generate the proper code, but code to
be used as a NIS map.
This is the Redhat schema for automount,
/etc/openldap/schema/redhat/autofs.schema:
# Depends upon core.s
I like FWbuilder (http://www.fwbuilder.org).

All of the windows that come up are too large to be completely visible on
the desktop. I've looked and looked but don't see the equivalen
