Hello I installed 5.1 the other night and set up ppp using netcfg. Had to bring the connection up and down a few times as I figured out the proper script to be using. The problem is, after the last time I 'deactivate'd the connection in netcfg I have not been able to get it going again.

If your are trying to make a new kernel you need to be in the kernel source directory, try "cd /usr/src/linux" and read the README, it will explain all you need to do to successfully make a new kernel. After which be sure to install your kernel into /boot (the default place for kernels to go on
