The slugs can be feed with MEK. However, you cannot get the high/high-high split filter to tune to 146 MHz. The coils have to be changes as well as the capacitors. I have converted some with little problem. After conversion, the filter should be tuned with a sweep generator to get the filter so

I have one in a UHF 75-Watt MICOR repeater with the same problem. I've unsoldered the cover that has to come off, and on this particular one, the slugs are so frozen that the hex-head tool now won't fit anymore in the slugs - they've become rounded out and just can't be gripped with anything.
