Joe Not sure which kind of duplexer Motorola uses in the MTR-2000 but in the MSF5000 they use a Tee Duplexer and a TFE6492A tx filter. In my oponion it works like crap. The duplexer that I like best is the the Cellwave(RFS) or Phelps Dodge style 526. I am using these with 2 UHF C74clb MSF-5000 a

I would recommend lightning protection (specifically Polyphasor). Since it should be at the enterance to the building, and the duplexers (the two on the repeaters and the one combining the repeaters) should all be inside the building, they would all be protected. That should eliminate the lightnin
