on - you will have to say
mysql -u root -p
and provide a password when prompted.
If you leave off -p it assumes the user you are trying to log into has no
password
thus the message (using password:NO).

and you got in - because thats when you get the Welcome message..

As noted below - after deleting (dropping) the Rivendell database, if you run
rdadmin - it will recreate it for you.
Then - after it tells you it created the database, exit rdadmin and you can
restore from your backup (assuming the backup is good).

Not sure why you are having problems with RDAirplay. As others suggested you
should be able to find the problem inside the error logs at the specific time
involved.
As for Log Refresh, I just want to ensure that you clicked the refresh log
button on the screen (and that it lit up)
