Hi,
Rivendell 2.7.0 packages for Debian and Ubuntu are now available on
Tryphon debian repository.
See install instructions on the dedicated wiki page :
http://rivendell.tryphon.org/wiki/Debian-Ubuntu_packages
Don't forget to pin Rivendell version on our production systems.

I'd say there are a lot of installations reliant on just keyboard/mouse.
The luxury/cost of touch screens are not an option for my setup.
Drag/drop 'move' functionality would be welcome and seems strange to me not to
be available.
Like a word processor offerring only cut but no paste

Hi,
I like the idea of having to toggle the "setup" mode to on for dragging
buttons to the sound panel. That would restore the way it used to work
(as far as being able to ensure that the sound panel is only setup when
you want it to be), while still allowing for the D&D to the panel.

Thanks you, Alessio. But I'm trying to install the Rivendell testing
packages (v. 2.7.0-1) published by Alban last night. The instructions you
sent me are for the regular (i.e. 2.5.5) packages.

Btw, sorry if this is not the place to ask this, but I'm trying to make my
own packages from the Alban's sources (rivendell_2.7.0-1.orig.tar.gz,
rivendell_2.7.0-1.debian.tar.gz, rivendell_2.7.0-1.dsc). Is there a place

No. I like it as it is. In Setupmode you can't use the panel to play
music... Everytime you like to copy a cart you have to switch on and off
that mode..! :( Count the clicks...
What about a small switch like in rdlibary.? Or one user can D&D and
another user not. (RDadmin settings.)

Unfortunately, this doesn’t work very well for sites using touch screens.
Cheers!

Gnome

It's a great step forward Fred (and thank you for implementing it) however the

Can I suggest this may be achieved by allowing users to select the desired

Exactly the intended behavior —i.e. all drags in Riv
Hi Jorge.
Happens the same to me with Ubuntu 12.04. I guess this is the behavior,
make a copy instead of moving the event.
Personally I'd rather it would move the event, not create a copy. Just like
some other Radio Automation systems (i.e. Audio Vault)

Hi,
I just tried it on Slackware 64 14.1 (install from source), but when I execute
the command "make"
i've got this error:
rdadmin.cpp: In function 'int gui_main(int, char**)':
rdadmin.cpp:553:30: error: expected type-specifier before 'QWindowsStyle'
QApplication::setStyle(new QWindowsStyle);
Running 2.7.0 from source on ubuntu 10.04, when I drag and drop a cart in
rdairplay I get duplicate carts, one cart stays in the original place but
it gets duplicate at the drop position.

Drag and drop between windows is a excellent feature: you can built a log
even faster than before!
But it can problematic in RDAirPlay: it's too easy to *accidentally* change

And all this time I thought I was the last holdout against drag-n-drop… :)
Hello all,
That might sound stupid, as the new feature is seen as a great
improvement by many on this list, but I'd like to have a way to disable
the new "drag'n'drop" feature.
Is there a way to disable it from RDAdmin ?
Thanks !
