I am running on a Virtual 2016 Server in GUI mode. I RDP into the server to
maange SA. A few times now the interface is frozen. so I kill and restart
it and its fine. This time I decided to check when it last wrote a check
file. it's been frozen for 5 days. I am just getting the windows Spinny
What O/S? I've ran it on a few different ones, granted I don't think I
have run the program for a year straight without reboots or updates or

So we lost the VM we had Servers Alive on, the SAN took a shit. I found an
old config file from 3 months ago. I installed a new version of SA,
registered, closed, opened and loaded the config. But all the groups are
gone, none of the general settings are configured. Did I miss a file for
backup?
I think it all depends on use, and the value-add. more so as a reminder.
especially if you are monitoring 3rd party domains w/o access to the
registrar to get the expatriation reminders.

I have alerts setup with groups being notified via email. I added another
person to the group, but they are not getting notified when the alert kicks
off. Do I need to re-apply the group to that alert? I would hate to have to
go through all the alerts and re-apply. :)
Question on the changes Wizard. I want to add an email group to all the
existing alerts on all the checks. Some have a single user, some have a
group, but not the one I want. Can I use the wizard to add an additional
group to that alert? or will it re-write what is there?
Suppose I could back it
to
avoid having to use the internet or email. In case those paths are not
available.
Thanks!
