Personally, I question whether any of it is even real. The silly-to-me
affectation of viewing the hunt through infrared lenses is off-putting and,
many times as I watch the preview clips (I have yet to sit through a full ep --
3/4 at best), I feel as though many of the perceived effects of the

enough programming in their vaults to air shows without having to resort to
all-day airings of one show.

Keith, I got pulled away from this for a moment (oddly, trying to see what was

past month (programming moe-rons)), and a thought came to me as I returned to
the keyboard.

Keith, I get the feeling that CN made the mistake of looking at the success

I agree. I blew by one night, and they were discussing something like a
scratching sound outside a farmhouse. Or perhaps it was a shadow with no
source? Balderdash! There are so many ways light and shadow, and especially
sound, can be bent and twisted and redirected it's not even funny.
Must be, Martin, must be...

I eat a lot of spinach. Stay away from meal bars mostly now, due to the bread
and sometimes sugars (got a glucose problem now, Lord help me). I eat a lot of
hemp bread. The brand I buy--French Meadow--gives you 15% of daily iron, 26g of
protein, 19% of daily fibre, 25% of magnesium, 15% of
After having no cable since 1992, missing shows like Farscape, Earthsea

I wonder if they really know who their core viewers are.

Ignore the crap on soy--all of that research is sponsored by the meat

Keith, I once popped back into a physics forum I used to frequent, just to see
how insane they all may still have been. (Worse, for the record.) They had a
thread posted about Ghost Hunters, questioning the veracity of the techniques
used in the show. Lots of four-letter words in the mix, none
I like the show, but some of the things that keep happening over and over

deals with the artifacts he comes in contact with. I do love the artifacts
though. Great creativity there. There are hundreds of Stephen King books

I used to eat the Luna bars too. They're kinda targeted to women, but I found
them to be among the best tasting. I'll look at that sugar content again.

Ha! Two years ago, when I was at my physical best (lifting weights, yoga,
Pilates, running/aerobics), my resting heart rate was 46 (measured as I came
out of a slumber), the rate just sitting in a chair reading or watching TV was
54, and the rate while doing minor activity like driving was 66.
I'll do you one better: Seven Days. During my long period of recent
unemployment, I had a lot of occasion to watch SciFi, either at home while
doing chores, or at my old gym, which had television screens on all the
treadmills. And for a long, long time, Seven Days was being aired
religiously.
Dude, what a thought! Good supposition!

Yeah, the Sister is used too sparingly. I don't really get her purpose or
