I'm hoping that the kid was just thinking outside of the box. There are a
lot of kids that come up with some great ideas. Many lose that zeal when
they get older.
Anyone remember the kid that created a device so that he could talk to his
friends underwater?

Mr Worf, that was my Inner Cynic posting, after a day spent in a pharmacy
waiting room. And yes, I do remember that story, vaguely.

Keith, the first one was... entertaining. Can't say much more than that for

I saw the first episode a few weeks ago and it wasn't really that good. I
don't really like the new Dr. at all. He's a bit boring. I liked Eccleston

also think the quality of the quality of the writing has gone down.

More than welcome. Personally, I'm still waiting on one of Feist's newer

It is, but the characters aren't connected to Pug and Feist's Midkemia
regulars. I tried to find the book at Borders, but it shows all the
hallmarks of danged good fiction, selling out quickly.

I think most people have felt the new Doctor will have to win them over.
What was it about Tenant's Doctor you liked better? I think I tend to lean a
bit toward Eccleston. He was darker, edgier, a bit more dangerous, than Tenant.
I believe he's the incarnation that came directly from the Time
Tenant just had that IT! the kind of persona that you can believe that he
would be just that brilliant. whenever he was putting the pieces 2gether, and
got 2 his ah-ha moment, he did it with such ease (like pierce bronson's 007)
that u did not feel that he was arrogant or anything.

Every time I see Don Cheadle as War Machine, I think Terrence Howard must be

he wasn't even invited into a discussion with the studio about salary. They
