Well, Duh, that's what stroke madness is all about, thanks for saying it.
It allows an 18 to press a 1.
The only thing that seems unfair is the side bets.
For example if your playing to a 10 off the low guy, and you are also
betting sandys (par from a bunker), barkys (par after hitting a tree),
. That's how it works in the real world of friendly
golf played for a few bucks. I don't know of anybody who plays it differently.

When I hit 70 years of age almost 5 years ago, I finally gave up on a
3-iron. Never had much use for hybrids...my old Mars Cydonia LCG 5W worked
just fine at 185 yards. But, last year Tour Golf closed out some left-over

Greetings,
Mine is a wood new shaft, the Fierce Full Force.
I'm using it in my driver (I don't think I need to plug the head), and it
is helping me to gain much needed distance and it's easy to control.
In some respects this could be seen as a shameless promotion, in that I had
a lot of design

We used to call them "jiggers" or "chippers". 7 or 8 iron length, 8 - 9 iron
loft, wide sole, relatively heavy weights, sometimes with a putter grip. I have
a couple of them in my pile of cast-offs. They even came double-faced - illegal
but my father-in-law had one and used it to great effect.
