SipXbridge does signaling translation, converting a REFER request to an INVITE

I fooled around it rebooted and the process was there, 100% of the CPU
consumed. If I add conference role back in and restart services, all looks
good. I am thinking it could have to do with removing the role with the
conference disabled but present.
Is there a procedure to remove such a role besi
FWIW - even though http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XTRN-942 is closed and
"fixed", in Polycom 3.2.2, the firmware will not be supported until 4.2 (in
stable version anyway).
Having been down the road before, if you are on a stable version of sipx,
use a firmware that's KNOWN to work properly.
Could you post a link to the tracker with the issues enumerated.
I'd like to know the dangers.

Tim,
I have experience with all three products... definitely pfSense over
Untangle (shudder).
The new ISA / TMG from Microsoft is pretty good, but for pure speed I'd
look to pfSense.

I have been using sipXecs with a dedicated ADSL line for a while now with
great success. Call quality has been excellent overall, with only a few rare
or minor issues. I have not had a need for QoS on this connection.
I now have a need to set up QoS for 1) remote workers, and 2) a new install

that I, frankly, don't want.

Has anybody been successful getting MOH working on the Cisco 7941G phones? We
have it working on other phones, but not the Cisco. Any info would be greatly
appreciated.
We are running SIPX 4.0.4 and firmware 8.5.3 on the phones.

We tried dropping the database, then when sipx asked for a new superadmin
password, we got the java error again. So we decided to reload the server and
restore from backups. Seems to be working... for now.
