Is it possible that you have made tweaks to the phones themselves. If they are like Polycom, once you make a change to the phone, those changes at the phone override what is put into the group configuration. You can't manage those changes from the group any longer. Try defaulting those phones

I just opened a jira. didn't see any info on this before. sipx doesn't need, doesn't use the cisco dialplan.xml. cisco phones were able to dial 4 digit extensions, as well as outdial without hitting the '#' or button or waiting the 5 second timeout.
