If I make new zones like:
sipx.site1zone.example.com
sipxdc.site2zone.example.com
Will I still be able to use u...@example.com as the uri for calls coming
in from outside? / remote users.

Hi All,
I am having an issue with site to site in my new sipx installs.
I have just setup 2 sites with 4.2.1 using the Centos 5.5 iso.
In the wiki, the setup of site to site calling has changed from the
Address of the Gateway from the FQDN to the Domain.

Spa2102 works fine with Sipx, once you make a minor fix to sipx's default
config file (See http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-7534). All config
options seem to be supported by the Sipx GUI. But I can send you a copy of a

Nothing should hinder you from using STUN with sipX. If the STUN client
guessed the port bindings correctly, there shouldn't be any difference
whether it's NATed or not. However, the problem arises when the STUN
client guessed wrong and you expect sipX to compensate for it.

Why don't you describe what you are trying to accomplish as an end-goal

In regards to the PermGen setting - I was able to set '-XX:MaxPermSize=256M'
in the /usr/bin/sipxconfig.sh, and we've yet to have JAVA bork up on us -
though we're only capped at 256MB. I wonder if I need to lift that some,

I know that all the sipx remote worker FAQ's and docs say "don't use
an stun server, turn it off, click it out". but for some of us that just

Seems pretty appealing if it could be configured to work on the inside Wifi
when you're near the office then act as a 'remote worker' when you're out and

I also have seen this issue in sipXecs version 4.2.1 (4.2.1-018930
