Hi all,
I'm trying to get TLS working properly between the connected endpoints (Polycom
Soundpoint IP335) and the SipXproxy. No firewalls/NAT or anything inbetween.
I'm running v3.2.5 on the Polycoms and SipXecs version 4.4.0-

Hi all,

I have proposed being able to upload phone CA via the config. I know
there are several CA for Polycom as documented in the site. Decrypt

I've noticed there aren't any instructions on how to properly perform an

Hmm, the third paragraph from Notes says:

server). Complete upgrade
I've installed the following chain of Polycom CAs in SipX (not via GUI though)
downloaded from http://pki.polycom.com/pki/
Polycom Root CA.crt
Polycom Equipment Policy CA.crt
Polycom Equipment Issuing CA 1.crt
Maybe I shall install the last one as well, the Polycom Issuing CA 2. I've

I would assume (I may be wrong) that the CA used to secure TLS with
the phone would require the phone conifg to specify the certificate
AND have the certiciate loaded in the phone. (i.e. use this on, here
it is). Have you checked the cfg files to see the certificate is
specified?

Interesting - after I RTFM, I found a setting - VM TONE DETECT, which
was OFF! (even though manual says default is ON). So turned it on and
it works - but it still requires that external MWI setting.
Thanks,

No need for mutual authentication that is why putting the Polycom CA
into sipX is not documented in the wiki. However, it should also work
if you push the correct Polycom CA into sipX. Feel free to update the
wiki if you get it working.

I am planning on using the 4.4 release to move off of the 32 bit release. What
is the official word on restoring backups from 4.2.1 to 4.4? Can I install the

install 4.2.1 (64-bit) and restore - then update?

This continues until we restart SIP Trunking service. The key seems to be found
