Hi Everybody!
I've been talking with Lars a bit about Apache and Sling and Bunkai and so

Sling.
At the moment, the code is a little bit in disarray, but workable. I'm

Hi!
I just realized that I've misplaced old html files in the top folder of
Bukain, so if anyone have had problems getting things working, I apologize.
The steps to get the demo working are as follows (from memory)
1. Mount Sling as webDAV file system
2. Copy the whole bunkai directory satructure
But I think that I can get it going now, with the correctly named parameter.
I did some digging and Dojo have a very nice content: {} parameter for
setting 'form' data ina apost on the fly, so I'll use that ^-^
I hope I have time tomorrow to finish a version that can be used for generic
editing..
Personally, I don't care if I write 10, 30 or 60 characters to get a handle
to an object which lets me access all available methods for the resource
node, or the system as such.
Either way you choose, just make sure to add the list of availabel methods

Hi Toby,
Maybe this will work out anyway, because I can create the nodes with
required type from the bunkai tree right now.
If I then fill the content of the node in a form field with the name
"jcr:data", it should work, shouldn't it?

Thanks David. Yes, actually the esp script produces generic JSON. When I get
that in my Ajax call, I then build a Dojo tree-specific object which
attaches the JSOn structure as a property, so it should be usable for
anything that wants general JSON, I hope.

I can't say that I follow all examples described properly, but in general I
would very much agree that, wherever possible, only use 'raw' data between
server and (Ajax/JavaScript) client. As soon as the server does View or
redirects, things gets complicated quickly - for both sides.
So if it is at

defines the root of the resource tree in ESP and then I'll build a classical

And, yes, that's also what I'm thinking. It doesn't matter in json what the
contents of a string is, as long as it doesn't mess with the json structure
itself (which it can do now).
The 'meaning' of a property value is application domain specific anyway, so
