I'm afraid I don't know of any local stores that sell linux pre-installed,
but if your just tryig to avoid the "windows tax", some majour vendors such
as Dell, and HP now offer computers with no OS at all, however where happy
to help you install which ever distro

Just a quick reminder that the GPL3 conference including Andrew Tridgell and
Eben Moglen (amongst a panel of local Open Source experts) will be at UNSW
