My apologies. A house of sick people for a week,
including myself, has distracted me from making
the announcement that tonight's meeting is on as
per usual.
We have Samuel Marks speaking on the use of
GPS/GNSS in precision applications such in time
synchronisation.

I actually found that Movie Player (totem) actually does a better job in
playing then mplayer. (mplayer basically shows garbage/blocks, whereas totem
just does a freeze-frame for a second or two when the errors occur). My

I have dubbed the DV recordings of the last SLUG meeting to DVD and
uploaded the Ogg Theora transcoded video to the SLUG media server.
