After trying the recovery partition and a USB boot drive it's still no go. The
best I can get is that Disk Utility sees that it's there but says it has 0Gb
space and won't even reformat it. At the moment I'm starting up from a clone of

I downloaded it onto my iPad last night on the 3rd attempt. Before that I had a

My wifi only 3rd generation iPad keeps dropping its wifi connection. It's never

I was wondering if anyone might have some idea about my very slow network
connection.
I'm trying to download a large file and its taking for ever. I've just checked
my connection speed with speediest and its averaging at just over .5 Mbps.
Notionally my connection is 100 Mbp
I've been asked to transcribe my grandmother's notebooks of recipes so that all
her descendants can have a copy(she was a brilliant cook).
I'd like to put them onto some kind of database.I need an application that's
easy to use and not too expensive (it won't be used for anything else). I've

My Macbook shut down suddenly last night and since then it won't stay on.
When I start it, it begins booting up and after a short time it shuts down.
