Robert, Check the voltage of the pack. If I remember correctly, 4 cells fro mthe 9v pack only come to like 4.6 v or something! Under load this could easially drop to <4v. Add in wire resistance and other load and you can see servos drop off. It is great that people are using 3 cell pack
