Hi guys,
I got the sim to load up but now it just sits there and does nothing. It
will occasionally flash and then the plane will switch positions but will
never start to fly. In the DOS window that opens it has an error message
that reads
Error: Multiple thermals in one location!

Fellows, if any of you have the Santa file mentioned below, please send it

Guys,
This thread has gone down hill quick. If you like them, then fly them and
have fun. I am not a fan of 2M but that does not mean someone else can't
be. What I am not going to buy though is those of you who are trying to say
they will perform with an UNL plane. Fact is, it is not going to
Thanks to all who responded to my "LIFTROLL curves" question earlier this
week. I tried to thank each off-line. If I missed one, sorry and thanks.

Some of us aren't made of money; 2-meter planes are generally somewhat less
expensive, easier to transport, and easier to hi-start than big
winch-gobbling unlimited. I hope to have some bigger, more expensive, planes
myself eventually, but the 2-meter class has a lot going for it, and it's

Daryl, when you're right you're right. Unfortunately, this time you are
not.
You see, not all of us are as knowledgeable as you or have the experience
that you have. The kit I was talking about was unlike any other I've ever
had. It was more of a kite than a typical model.
I think most of us
The only way a 2-meter ship doesn't measure up to the unlimited models is
visibility. I flew 2-meter from 1979 until 1998 with my two meter Winglet
Spica and found that it outperformed the standard class and 115 inch span
versions every way but one. I couldn't stay with the thermal as far

To all that fly or have flown Bob's planes.
I am wanting to add a some pages to my web site of Dodgson planes.
If you would like to donate your pic's and have them posted please send them
to me.
Would like pic's of you and your plane if you have one, but would be happy
with whatever you send.
Hi Gang,
Sure it is nice if a new plane comes with instructions and all of your
settings laid out for you, but like DP says if you are buying that type of
model you should already know a little about putting one together. I just
recently purchased a new NYX from Tom and Mark at www.f3x.com and i
Daryl,
With all due respect, you are not like most of us.
I need a place to start so that I don't crunch my shiny new Worldbeater 2002. When
all is said and done, I'll probably end up with a completely different setup than you
anyway. I'm sure I can't get the plane setup to launch as hard as
The Lovesong is a terrific thermal ship, as I am sure the Anthem is. I
think the Saber would be great for AMA style themal contests. Hard to beat
the Pivot for all around fun I want one of each!

Sorry about my last. Hit enter too fast.
For me, has to be the Maestro, mainly because it's the only one I flew.
Pretty plane - sure looked good in a Florida thermal. Had trouble keeping
the wings in one piece, though (my fault of course).
