Hi, I have a friend who is rather new to the hobby and wants to buy a
Cycler. I have not bought one in the last ten years. I don't know what
one to recommend to him. What is the most popular one these days?

I like the Lil Dork from NES and the ruby.
the Lil Dork flys at 35 oz. and is good for balmy days. The Ruby, also from NES flys
at 43, 44 oz.
and will launch to the moon and really penetrate. It flys like it was lighter and
lands very well.

Is anybody using the new JR R700 7 channel receiver in a molded plane
(eraser)
and if so how has the performance been?
I need to buy a new receiver and consider buying either the R700 or an 8
ch Hitec
superslim.
Have used the R600 for a few years, and have not had any problems.

Freon did, so it might work
I too saw that add and noticed the snake-oil-saleman-like claims of
super-genius performance. Overall I thought the thing in the picture was
better known as a "tri-plane" (please add Doctor Evil fingers quoting in the
air yourself to get the full effect). Of course what do I know, I was too
